Storm & InsuranceStorm Damage? Don't File the Claim Alone.
Wind, hail and ice damage is often invisible from the ground — and claims get denied every day for bad documentation. We inspect for free, photograph everything the adjuster needs to see, and stand with you through the process.

You Might Have Damage and Not Know It
Hail rarely punches holes. It bruises the shingle mat, knocks off the protective granules and shortens the roof's life by years. From the driveway, the roof looks fine. Two winters later, it's leaking — and by then, the claim window has closed.
Wind damage works the same way. A gust lifts and breaks the seal strip on a shingle. It lays back down and looks normal, but it's no longer sealed, and the next storm takes it off.
Look for:
- Dented gutters, downspouts, vents, AC units or metal fascia — hail hits those first
- Granules collecting at the bottom of downspouts
- Shingles that look bruised, pockmarked, or have dark spots where granules are gone
- Lifted, creased or missing shingles after a wind event
- Neighbors with roofing crews or claim signs in their yards
- Water staining in the attic or on upper-floor ceilings

What Damage Looks Like
The Damage the Adjuster Needs to See
These are illustrations of typical hail and wind damage — the kind that's easy to miss from the ground.

How It Works
How the Claim Process Actually Works
Free inspection
We get on the roof and document everything — hail strikes per test square, wind damage, and collateral damage to gutters, vents, siding and AC units. Photographed, measured and dated.
You file the claim
You contact your insurance carrier and open the claim. You stay in control — it's your policy and your home.
We meet the adjuster on site
This is the step that changes outcomes. Adjusters move fast and work from their own scope — we're there to walk the roof with them so nothing gets missed.
We review the scope
Insurance scopes often leave out ice-and-water shield, drip edge, ventilation or code-required items. We identify what's missing and supplement it.
We do the work
Once approved, we complete the repair or replacement to the approved scope, on your schedule.
Final documentation
You get completion photos and the paperwork your carrier needs.
What we don't do
We're not public adjusters. We don't negotiate your claim on your behalf, and nothing we tell you is legal or insurance advice. What we do is document the damage accurately and speak knowledgeably to the adjuster about roofing scope — which is often the difference between a partial repair and a full approval.
A Real Example
One Call, One Claim, One-Day Roof
One of our customers called after an ice and wind storm took a few shingles off. During the inspection we found the damage was far more extensive than what was visible from the ground. Evencio walked her through the claim process and advocated for her at every step — the carrier approved a full roof replacement, and the new roof went on in a single day.
About Your Deductible — Straight Talk
If your claim is approved, your insurance pays for the covered work minus your deductible. That deductible is your responsibility, and it's illegal in Wisconsin for a contractor to waive, absorb or "eat" it.
Be very careful with any contractor who offers to. If they'll break the law for you, they'll cut corners on your roof.
What we can do: give you an honest scope, handle the adjuster paperwork, and schedule the work around when your claim funds land — no games, no surprise line items.
Watch Out for Storm Chasers
After every major hail event, out-of-state crews flood the Fox Valley, knock doors, sign contracts, install fast and disappear. When your roof leaks in three years, the phone number is disconnected.
Before you sign anything, ask:
- Are you licensed and insured in Wisconsin, and can you show proof?
- Do you have a local address I can drive to?
- Can I see reviews from customers in this county?
- Who handles warranty calls in five years — and will you still be here?
We're based in Freedom, Wisconsin. We're not going anywhere.
